Dale had a big year in 2006 following the release of his debut album, A Trucker's Life, late in 2005. Singles from the album, including his own song 'Three Words Daddy', charted will, including a #4 position.
Dale's video clip 'Do You Wanna Be' reached #30 on the CMC Top 50 and he has had success overseas with airplay in Austria, Germany, Japan, USA, Canada, New Zealand and France.
Late in 2006, Dale signed a 3 year publishing deal with 'Aussie Independant Music'. In July '06, he released 'Malabar Mansion' - a duet with Gordon Parsons (through the magic of technology), a song written more than 30 years ago by his father Dave Duncan for Gordon. The single has become Dale's first Hit on the Country Tracks Top 30 Chart, peaking at #14.
Among award achievements, Dale received a silver medallion for 'Best New Talent' at the recent NSW Gold Medallion Country Music Awards and is nominated as a finalist for 'Best New Talent' at the 2007 Stan Coster Memorial Bush Ballad Awards at Bungendore and is a top five finalist for 'Best Heritage' Song at the 2007 Australian Country Music People's Choice Awards.

Dale is an all round musician who has been performing live since he was 17 and is no doubt a household name within the Australian Country Music scene. The whole foundation to Dale's belief is, give the people more than they bargained for and he'll stop at nothing to achieve his goal.
A singer/ songwriter, Dale play's guitar and has successfully created his own unique sound, having been influended by such greats as Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash and Alan Jackson. |
